THE ORTHODOX WEST is a documentary about a minority group with the Orthodox Christian Church. The Orthodox Church consists of over 300 million members worldwide. 99% of the members identify as "Eastern Orthodox." This film is a soft introduction to 1%.
Follow the journey of three Orthodox priests who are members of the 1%, also known as the Western Rite. We share in their early journey, their discovery of the Orthodox Church, and how they chose a minority rite in one of the oldest Christian denominations in the world.
This is part one in a three-part series. Part two is scheduled for release in April 2018.
